Romy Carlson
National Director of Business Development
Romy has spent the last seventeen years amassing knowledge and experience to help make the world a healthier place. Whether through her formal education in Wellness and Sport (B.S. from Michigan State University, M.Ed. from Xavier University, Postgraduate work at The Ohio State University and most recently an EMBA from the University of Missouri) or through her diverse background with leading Wellness organizations (TriHealth Fitness and Health, LifeTimeFitness, and Weight Watchers Int., just to name a few), Romy has become an expert in the world of Corporate Wellness Sales and Promotion. As a member of the varsity crew team at Michigan State and later a coach for Michigan State, Xavier and The Ohio State University crew teams, Romy’s passion for leading exceptional teams to reach uncommon goals flourished. Now she applies that same passion, education, and experience in her role with Retrofit. Romy loves to spend her free time with her husband, Marlin, her 11 year old daughter, Payton and her 7 month old son, Tristan. Romy is also mother to the family’s three furry canine children. Together the family plays competitive tennis, enjoys indoor rock climbing and reading.
